And a dumb one. I'd imagine those things would be shot to hell within 200 miles. Carbon chainrings already suffer badly from shifting, imagine what would happen to a cassette. Honestly, I've never heard of this company and I'd be pretty wary of their products unless I could see some reviews. A lot of what they're selling just feels like it may have been created for the sake of carbonizing something.

Guys, I orderered a cassette. They are not carbon. What led you to believe they are carbon? Here is a quote from their desciption. "Super light weight One piece, precise CNC 7075 T6 Alloy construction Quick, super precise shifting Shimano 9 Speed". I just received my order- handlebars, cassette & stem and it is great so far.

cyclist101, how is the cassette working for you? Have you noticed any changes, good or bad, with your shifting? I'm eyeing those cassette myself. :)

It works great. I use it mainly for racing, and have just a bit of milage on it, but so far it works great. Shifting is smooth and precise. Now, I don't know how long the cassette will last, since it is made for racing and is lightweight.

Cool! Thanks.

Just to keep the thread going...I just bought their carbon handlebar, and it is great! It's exactly like the Stella Azzurra bars, in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if this company makes the bars for Stella Azzurra, and private labels their own product under the Token name. Great stuff at half the price of the branded equipment.

anyone else had any tries w/ the token cassettes- it's a cheaper and lighter alternative to d/a 10 cassettes?

I received an e-mail with a 20% off coupon at velo carbon. I guess I am going to stock up on some stuff now. Anyway, here is the code: 312050079 I hope they don't mind me posting it here, I don't think it is a one use code.
