Anyone know the Army specific rules for riding on post?

The regulations will vary from post to post. Check with the Provost Marshall on base. Having said that I'm pretty confident that helmets are required. When I was at Ft Richardson in the 80s I got ticket for riding in the winter because local regs prohibited bicycling when there was snow on the roads.
