Fit Question

I'm relatively new to road cycling and had a quick question...

I feel like only my quads are getting worked out and my hams are not, what adjustment would I make on my bike to equalize the workout between quads and hams?

Hi welcome to the forums. I beleive the only real way to get a good workout with your hams is to pedal backwards *giggle*

no seriously you need to learn and teach your legs the muscle memory to pull up on the pedal as well as push down. that also increases speed. it takes awhile to get in the habit but once your body has the muscle memory down is is almost natural.

Okay so the hams get worked out on the up-stroke of the pedal. I'll try to concentrate on my pedal stroke, especially the upstroke and get my hams involved lol

Thanks for the welcome and the advice.
