Your favorite LBS in the bay area?
I'm moving to the Palo Alto area and looking for a good new LBS, preferably close. Any recommendations in the suburban area as well as in SF proper would be appreciated.

If you ever make it to the North Bay, check out NorCal Bike Sport in Santa Rosa, Performance in San Rafael, and Mike's.

Mike's Bikes is pretty good in my experience, but they don't have a lot of stock. The Missing Link — every time I have gone there, I have had problems. When I was trying to buy a new bike and they didn't have the model I wanted, they falsely claimed that it had been discontinued and also lied about the brakes. When I wore out the tires on the bike (which I'd ended up buying elsewhere), they sold me the wrong size tire as a replacement. "Some 700x25s are actually 700x27s and some 700x23s are actually 700x25s; you should have gotten a 700x23 for your 700x25." Whatever, I don't need the hassle.
