My GF calls me a bikaholic
I bought six bikes in the last three months.
It may sound excessive, but these are all used bikes I got Craigslist, so I paid a fraction of retail.
Hello, my name is Austin-rider, and I'm a bikaholic.

If I had a girlfriend, and she viewed me as a bikeaholic, I would be very proud of myself for keeping her despite my obvious addiction! Personally, I'd want a girl who's into bikes and touring, so we could feed our addiction together.

My girl is into bikes and into me... she is presently working on getting number 4 and I have 13.
She wanted a tandem so we could take longer rides together and I am building that.
I have my own bike shop and am an aspiring frame builder... she supports me in all these endeavors.
No... she does not have a sister.

That would get ugly because there would be no space to store the bikes.

My wife is pretty good about it, even let me transform one of the rooms in the house into a bike shop (I work from home so I already took over one bedroom as my office)

I don't remember the last time I only had 6 bikes, I have about 30 now down from quite a few more than that.

6 bicycles is somehow ... excessive???
I'm down to 4 full bicycles and a frame (which Rowan brought home from the tip the other day) right now ... and I'm going through withdrawal. Between the two of us ... I've lost count. I think we're at 10 full bicycles and 3 frames ... with several more bicycles on the "To Build/Buy" list.
We're talking about a matching set of folding bicycles, debating about a tandem (although we want to try one first and see how we go), and planning on a pair of matching touring bicycles. I think Rowan is eyeing up a titanium frame after building up my new titanium frame, and meanwhile, I'd like to add a step-through to my collection. I'd also like to pick up an ordinary, even if it is not in rideable condition. Then, of course, there is the world of recumbents to consider .........

My girlfriend knows that it is an addiction for me. This only helps her become more involved with cycling. I go through my stables of bikes here as well.

I barely have a place to keep 2 bikes let alone 6. I currently have only one bike which is a fixed gear. I do have a scooter and a motorcycle too though
