Polar wireless kits

Hi,

I could not find reviews for the bike accessories.

How accurate are the cadence or the speed sensor kits? Are the connection problems with the new 725x or 625x?

Thanks,
Mossi

I have a 725. Had it for about a month. Works perfectly. ONCE in a while under powerlines it gets wonky and the speed/hr/cadence go to 0. Other than that no problems. yet.

And no problem when riding with others with the same model?

g'day,

polar HRM's are individually coded with something they refer to as 'own code'. In my training bunch, the majority of us have polars from 625's, 710, 720 & 725's. we don't have any issues with 'cross' information. The wireless 'pickups' on these models are all the same, only the 'features' of the actual 'watch' units changes. Like all 'wireless' bike computers, expect some interference from high voltage overhead wires. Other than that, I've never had any issues with my 720,

cheers,

Hitchy

I have had problems with interference from other riders who are close by, and even got confirmation from Polar that their "coding" doesn't work very well.....

Regarding accuracy the display from the monitor is pretty accurate. The downloaded information has significant error margin due to sampling. (Again confirmed by Polar)
