Bikes: Had a Surly Cross Check - was totaled in recent accident. Sadly now just a Fuji Crosstown as a backup bike.

LOL - my son has taken to biking . . .

Got him a decent bike store hybrid (low end fuji crosstown without all the suspension stuff and a better seat). .

I'm scared he is going to ride to the next town soon. . . hahah (he is 17) . . .

2 weeks already 200 + miles on the bike. . .he is already bugging me about upgrading stuff . . .sigh. At least I know what to do at christmas and such. . .

This is from a kid that never really was athletic. He is skinny just not into sports. . .

Yea, I'm pretty proud of him. 2 years of high school left - and he finished 6 hours college math this summer - precal/trig and cal 1. He is a math nerd like myself - and wants to get his degree in physics. . . I anticipate he'll pass most of his AP exams and we'll have year one of college knocked out before he ever grads. . . So yea - he is a delight (mostly). All teens have their moments.

Any 17 year old son who still wants to do things with his father is worth getting into shape for. Get on that bike

This is awesome...you both need to ride together...it won't be long before he is out and about and only sees you occasionally. Cherish the moments.
