New to Cycling, Need Input

Hi everyone!

I want to get back to riding bikes again, likely just casual trail riding by myself or with a friend. I live near a 6 mile lakeside trail (4 paved, 2 dirt), and would love to get out there a few times a week for some exercise and enjoyment.

I would like to pick up something used to begin with. I have been looking over Craigslist and feel like $100 can get me a decent bike from a reputable company. I think I would prefer a hybrid or mountain bike, I prefer a more upright posture than hunched over on a road bike. I am also 5'-11", and from my research believe a 19-21" bike seems to be the best choice for me. That said, I was hoping for some input on a local bike;

This looks to be a nice bike, and I hopefully could get it within my budget as its been up for a while. What do you guys think of this bike? Raleigh as far as I can tell is a well-received company, and this bike seems to be in good shape. Are there any glaring problems that my novice eyes are missing? I do not need anything super fast or able to withstand 10 foot falls, just something that is going to get the job done for me, and hopefully with some care last a little while.

Any opinions or comments would be greatly appreciated, thanks,

Nick

So I took it for a ride and like it, frame is in good shape and its got some nice upgrades on it. Got the bike for $80 which I think was a pretty good deal, going to take it down to a local bike shop to have a tune up, but couldnt resist going for a ride beforehand, clocked in 4 miles after work today =)
