WOOT, wife is gettin a new bike
 

i had gotten my wife a specialized allez off of craigslist this past winter. She rode it a couple times, but was never comfortable on it... we made some fit changes, and she fit the fitting 'mold', but just didn't like the fit.

Went to the farthest LBS local to us (30 min) when we live 1 mile away from another LBS, but the owners at the farther LBS are much more friendly and helpful...

anyhow, she test rode a dolce in the same frame size as the allez and she LOVED it... said it handled great and she would much rather buy it... so we hawked the allez on CL for 50 more than we paid for it, and it'll be a great funder for the new ride.

Picking it up friday after her fit. And i will probably be getting an allez or secteur in the next couple weeks too...

it's a great week in the Mac household

it's great when things work out like that. rock on and enjoy the new bike!

she got it tonight, and loved the new bike on our 10 mile ride... now to convince her of a century next year :)
