Can I get an opinion or twleve on this bike?

This bike is on sale at my local bike shop and I am considering it.
It was selling for $499.00 and now is priced at $419.00

did you ride it and like it? does it fit you? are you just buying it because its on sale?

If you answer yes to all the questions then it will work out fine for you.

Looks like a decently-equipped bike for the money, one of those "urban mountain bikes" everyone seems to be selling these days. Practical for short-haul riding.

As cyclist says, if it fulfills your riding needs and is a good fit....

More info please:
What kind of riding do you want to do?
What experience do you have?
Are you replacing another bike that you are currently riding, or are you taking up cycling as a new thing?
It looks like a fine bike, but you should be sure it fits. I think it's a great idea to buy as locally as possible if you can find something that suits your needs. That way if something's wrong it's easy to get some help.

straight bar road bike? I wouldn't get it unless you already had a bike with drop bars.
