Question about tires
I have a 70 Batavus champion road bike but it has 27'' zeus airless tires. Should I swap them for something like these? Whenever I go over any cracks or uneven areas I feel the impact. Will tires like these help? Will it also help me go even faster?

People on the c&v forum here swear by panaracer paselas. I have tried them and they ride great and have good performance, but the sidewall is easy to abrade IMHO. The Gatorskins have the thin sidewall required for high performance but also have an anti-abrasion layer on the sidewall. I abraded the layer going through some gravel in a sidewalk section awaiting concrete, but the sidewall cords underneath were sound. A pasela would have been toast. However, you can just try to remember not to roll through gravel or brush up against sharp pavement.
Some say the latest airless tires are almost as good as conventional tires but others disagree. I haven't tried them.
Go for it, and get a lightweight inner tube also. Plus, provided you avoid sharp edges which can bottom the tire against the rim and thus pinch the tube inside, causing a flat, do not run full rated pressure. Unless you are much heavier than 200lb, try about 65 in front and 75 in back for 27x1-1/4, maybe a bit more if you get 27x1-1/8.
Check if your rims have a hook bead. If not, you can't get a tire which is only for hook bead rims. I don't know if the gatorskin or pasela are for hook bead rims only, since I have hook beads and didn't need to know. It is just a ridge just inside the rim which grips the tire bead.
I also like the Nashbar Prima 2 Plus. It is a low cost, fairly high performance tire. The Performance Forte' Kevlar is tough as nails but will offer less of the benefits you seem to be looking for because of a thicker tread and sidewall, and I have not found the Primas to be fragile in any sense of the word. They can wear down to have a flat spot quicker than other touring tires, but that may indicate a "grippier", softer, high performance tread.

I am not sure if my rims have a hook bead or not. Not quite sure how to remove the airless tires from rim. I think there is something different on the rim. I've posted links to the images.

I want to add why I took an interest in this thread. I have never used airless tires but I shopped and researched them. Everyone seemed to think they were heavy, hard riding, high rolling resistance tires. Some claim the very latest ones are better but it could be hype.
I tried Vittoria Zaffiros on an '82 Schwinn, which did not have hook bead rims. The tubes blew out when I put the wheel aside after mounting the tire, before I even mounted them to the rim, but I used 100 PSI. They stayed on when you degreased the inside of the rim, but I shouldn't have second-guessed how necessary that was, and it may not work all the time. Tires can have mold release agent on them which can screw it all up, or a sharp bump can derange everything.
I had steel rims on another bike, but it came with slightly less high-performance gumwall tires with a wire bead and I kept the pressure down below 75. A lot of bikes do fine without a hook bead.
The guys on the c&v subforum would be able to help with which tires are good for steel rims. They might be interested in your bike, too.
I think that I believe that I remember that the "wrapper" which my Pasela TG's came with said hooked rim only. However my front rim is not a hooked rim and I've run it all summer at about 110 to 115lbs. YMMV, of course. (Okay, it did blow off when I inflated it over 120lbs. Don't try that at home even if you are a professional.)
