The best damn cycling gloves ever !!
I know we all have a favorite glove type but this time I looked outside of the cycling world for tough gloves that last. I found them in as a trades item for anti-vibe work.
I found these !!!

I dislike clipless pedals on any city bike since I feel they are unsafe.

If they work for you... I once used a pair of Mechanix gloves that I had in my truck toolbox when I forgot my gloves on a mountain bike ride. They were just as good as dedicated cycling gloves.

Sort of. The back is spandex that will absorb lots of body fluids!

I liked my Ironman gloves but they didn't last too long(in 4 months they were pretty bad) After years of trying the new materials,I've gone back to using dead things(cotton and leather) something spectacular is going to have to come out before I change again.

I bought a pair of Stanley work gloves from the tool section at Wal Mart for $10.00. They look exactly like something you would buy at yhe LBS or on-line. I'm sure the same company makes them, then whoever sells them sticks their label on.
