Let me know what you think - New Application

Hey everybody,
I developed this web application for personal use last year and have now made some changes to it to allow proper permissions and individual accounts. I want to know what some of you guys think. The application is used for tracking Bicycle Ride Stats, Paddling Stats and Backpacking stats for right now. However I will be adding skiing/snowboarding to it as well.
I know it is pretty archaic looking right now, but I will work on the display and design and print screens in the weeks to come.

I used this application most of the year and have found it extremely handy in terms of looking up my trends for cycling. How often I cycled during what times, miles, incline, who I rode with. Anyways, I just released the application for public use and I am looking for some good test users as well as your input in terms of how to make it better, what other things should I include overall general comments. Please let me know everything, as I can only try to make it better if I know what to improve on.

You have to make an account to use it but don't worry, it is completely free and there will be no spam sent out I promise. Please check it out.
Link: LiveOncEnjoy Activity-Tracker 1.1

If you have ANY questions feel free to ask. Your records, information, and even statistics are not public information.

Thank you in advance fellow BFers.

It is not too difficult to do at all, but here is the How to on how to use the application.

I am really interested in what people have to think about it. I would really like to expand this package to be way more robust but I need some input from the users at this point as to what they want to see.

How To Use

Using Activity-Tracker for LiveOncEnjoy to track your stats for your outdoor activities:

Create An Account: An account must be created to allow you to log into Activity-Tracker. This can be done from the Register area. When this step is completed continue to the login screen and sign into Activity-Tracker.
Adding Members: Before you can track anybody's active information, they must be created as members on to the system. (This allows for a single account to administrate as many members as need.) If you are the only member then simply add yourself as the only 'Member' from the 'View Members' area. If you are creating multiple members, remember that they will appear on the choose list as 'First Name' 'Last Name', therefore anybody with the same first and last name as another member should be given a Middle Initial to indicate.
Adding Equipment: In order to apply which bicycle or boat was used during the activity, the must first be added into the 'Equipment' Bicycles or Boats section. You can add equipment by choosing either 'Bicycling' or 'Paddling' and choosing 'My Bicycles' or 'My Boats' from the drop down menu and clicking 'Add New' from the table menu.
Creating Activity Data: Now that you have members and equipment to use during your activities, you can now add an activity from anywhere you have an internet connection. From the Activities menu, choose whoch activity you want to add data for and click on Track Rides, Track Paddling, or Backpacking from the options and click on 'Add New' from the table menu. Fill out all information available. (Don't worry, these can be edited later when you recieve official statistics from your ride leader or Garmin)
Viewing Activity Data: To view your data simply choose which activity your would like to see statistics for and choose 'Track' from the drop down menu. This will provide you with all of the records you provided pertaining to each particular activity. From here you can choose to view a specific record by clicking on it, printing records by choosing 'Print Preview' from the table menu, or save your records to a CSV file to export into MS Excell. You can filter or sort the data you are looking at by any field and you can selectively printer which records you want to print in either detail or table view.
If you need any help or have any questions thats need to be answered or addressed, please feel free to contact support@liveoncenjoy.com and I will try to respond as quickly as possible. Thank you for your interest in using Activity-Tracker developed for LiveOncEnjoy by Alpha Blue Technologies, LLC.

I have updated Activity tracker to Version 1.3

This version includes data tracking for Running and Skiing/snowboarding. I have also added a few things like fields for photos in the euipment Bikes and Boats sections along with each of the activities. Activity Name field has also been added to help make identifying your rides, runs, paddles, slopes and hikes easier.

Please give it a shot guys and let me know what you think. I have not had any feedback from the cycling community and this is where I believe I need the most. Any comments, feel free to post here or shoot me an e-mail from the support links on the site. Thank you guys!

I've been using http://mapmyride.com to track my workouts. Any benefit your site has over theirs?

nothing yet, still new, but it does incorporate other sports as well. Is there something you want to see (think long term data trend) that would make it beneficial over mapmyride. At this point, I am still in complete development, but the application is working 100%. Any and all input is considered valuable. Thanks for the reply zoink!

Spend less time writing code, and more time on your bike.

Coding pays the bills, riding pays the spirits. No reason I can't do both.

It was mostly a tongue-in-cheek comment. I also assumed the site you're advertising was a side project. I used to do a lot of side projects, until I started riding a bike.

I completely understand the need to pay the bills.

I know, I was just giving my strongfoot of a response.
LiveOncEnjoy.com is the side project with my two sisters and I.
The application is something that I developed myself for personal use, and then just kept expanding on it as I probably will keep doing. But don't worry, none of this is keeping me from riding, if anything it makes me want to ride more.
