Need Help

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum and I dont know much about bikes, but I was wondering if you guys would help me out with something.

Currently, I am looking at a bike (Trek 560) and it's being sold for $150.

I am a college student and would only use it for commuting. I don't really need anything fancy added on to it or anything. I was wondering if the price is good for the bike? The owner has had the bike for 2 years and has taken excellent care of it.

If the bike is the right size, and has no major flaws, I would jump on it. I think you would be able to get most or all of your money back if you decide to resell it later. Again, assuming it has no major flaws. I think the price is very fair. A nice looking bike. If I lived close enough, I would buy it in a sec.

Barring inspection of the tubes for cracks (particularly where the head/dowtube meet) I'd say it's a good deal.

The problem is that by the time you see it on CL someone has already bought it ;)
