myrridin, I donate generously to "street bums", and "piece of human refuse", as you call them. Most of these people are mentally ill and/or down on their luck. Don't forget - they are human beings too.
Please don't shoot any of these people; remember...we're all in this together.

Funny you ask, in the areas I have lived that allow concealed carry, we don't have bums approaching cars with filthy rags and expecting to be paid... I have lived in several areas where concealed carry wasn't legal, most notably NY and clearly remember aggressive street bums wiping filthy rags on my windshield despite telling them no. I also remember being routinely threatened by such persons when I refused to pay for the "service." My personal "favorite" memory of NYC was one such piece of human refuse who was so agrieved when I refused to make a "donation" he proceeding to urinate on the car with a cop just across the street. Yep those "squeegee kids" are really harmless aren't they.
Now there are the occasional street bums with signs here begging, but they only approach cars when the drivers indicate they will give them some money. Could it be because they realize more aggressive behavior would be life threatening? If so, that is certainly a nice benefit of allowing those who chose to carry a firearm--seemingly a benefit for everyone in the community.

Do you fantasize about leaving that hobo's smoking corpse at the intersection? Hah

What part of the bums/beggars are not aggressive in the areas I have lived where concealed carry (or open carry) is allowed is not clear? Whether it is the inherrent risk in assaulting people who may be armed or simply better police enforcement they don't tend to be aggressive. In some place like NYC, neither the threat exists nor was there police enforcement, see my example in the post your referenced.
If someone wishes to give these folks money, that is fine with me; however, I have a problem with any community that doesn't keep such people limited to passive begging. When they get belligerent they should be jailed.

Hahaha... so bad - yet hilarious. It's just piss, though probably the worst hobo urine around Really though, you are not your car so don't get upset like he was peeing on your person. I certainly hope you're not at the point where you'd risk a gun fight over that. In an urban area your car affords you some protection from the elements, so to speak.

My issue was that such practice was apparently common in NYC and further that a public servant (cop) witnessed the assault and failed to do his job.
Frankly, I wouldn't even consider this action sufficient to shoot someone; however, I do keep a very nice pepper spray on hand for just such situations. Since it also contains a UV ink, it makes it much easier for the police to find the miscreant when I file charges. Worked very well my last visit to Oakland... (gee another community that doesn't allow citizens to carry...)
BTW, urine is a bodily fluid and as such a vehicle for disease transmission.

What does aggro mean? Not in any of my dictionaries. Please translate to English.
Well since I don't allow myself to loose control of my temper I don't see a problem. I have had a CHL for more than a decade and never felt the need to draw my weapon on anyone. Further, I do have a solid understanding of both the legal and civil liability issues associated with carrying, something that most of you who get your information from Hollywood seem to lack.
Of course someone who looses it over a simple traffic altercation should probably seek anger management before they go out in civilized society.

Wasn't my car...it was a rental, I let them clean the car.
