Just got back from a quick trip to the supermarket. 2 guys pulled up on their bikes-1 was a Huffy the other, a Cannondale... the 3rd guy "works" at the supermarket watching peoples carts while you get your car (urban supermarket so you can't take your cart past the front entrance way because there are concrete poles only wide enough for people not carts).

Huffy guy says to C-Dale guy- "Hey man whatcha ridin'?

C-Dale guy says- "Got me a new Cannon-something", looks down at the downtube and says, "Ahhh, a Cannondale".

3rd guy looks over and must know them both because he says- "Hey man, it must be a killa bein' in yer 30's, ridin' bikes and tryin' to get biotches"

C-Dale guys says- "Yeah, but things be changin' now I got me this bike!"

Huffy guy says- "Well I ain't never had any luck wit my Huffy... yet"

3rd guy says- "Hahaha, told both you fools!"

Huffy and C-Dale guys look at 3rd guy and say pretty much in unison- "Hey, you don't have a car OR a bike so what YOU talkin' 'bout?!?!"

3rd guy didn't smile and kind of slunk away back into the supermarket.

Probably a "had to be there" moment but it was funny to overhear.

Well if nothing else, sounds like the Cannondale was stolen.

I read this post this morning before I left for work. I thought about this story all day for some reason. Every time I would think about it I would get a chuckle and picture the third dude(w/out bike) going sulking back in to store! What a great story Istanbul! Almost like COPS but without the toothless, shirtless, chain smokin' thugs.
