Keep you saddle fresh; How to keep clothes dye off your saddle...

Hello, I ride a lime green saddle and have problems keeping it clean. If youve ever ridden a light colored saddle you know what im talking about. I clean it about every other time I ride and it still seems to be building up black stuff

Any suggestions on how to keep a saddle clean maybe without scrubbing it regularly?
or any suggestion on what to use to clean it?

I'd like to know this, myself. I've got a seat I like a lot, with a red kevlar tail section on it. I quit using it, because the kevlar picks up the dye off my clothes, even when I wear old pants.

haha, thanks for the input.

Well, i tried this shoe cleaner and protector stuff, its the type they try to sell you when you buy new sneakers and it has the brush on the cap. It says dont use the brush on the leather so i didnt and it cleaned the seat up pretty well and ive noticed it has less dye on it than usual so it may be doing alright..

I used leather cleaner that my dad used for his car and it made the saddle look new again. You just have to apply a lot of it to clean the saddle throughly.

I have lots of those. They work great on dirty handprints on the wall. I'll give it a try.
