Whatr the H*ll was he thinking?

Yesterday my wife and I go out for an easy
10 miler around the neighborhood. As it is a
comfortable 65(F) degrees and sunny almost
everyone and their DOG is out.
So here comes my neighbor walking his dog (leashed).
as I get about 10 metres away, he unleashes the
dog who promptly runs directly towards me, I hit brakes
go a** over teacup and my neighbor states
"gee, he never chased bicycles before".
sometimes I'm truely amazed at the stupidity of people
when confronted with a bicycle.

Personally, I think tape worms are better snack for bad doggies.

He knew full well the dog was going to chase a bike, and reacted accordingly. What you need is the following:

1. Doggie biscuits
2. Very small shards of broken glass
3. Cyanide.
4. An alarm clock that will wake you at about 2.30am

Do I need to draw a picture here?

Now I'm sure you didn't mean to suggest any harm to the dog Chris. There are no bad dogs, just bad owners. OK?

I hope it was a joke re the dog. Feed that to the owner, if you must, where the blame belongs.

He wasn't thinking. And next time he does that call the cops, because I know here that when the dogs off his proterty and not on a leash they can give a ticket ( normaly it doesn't result to that, but normaly people think). It will be a good $50 reminder to think next time.

NO.....but it depends on what kind of dog it is. If its one of those little s*** dogs, then I would run it over......but how could u run over a cute chocolate lab? that would be so cruel!!!!!

Yeah, I got a bit fired up (I do that sometimes). I'd call the cops first and see if they can fine the owner and do the dog a favour by finding it a more sensible and responsible owner. However, if that doesn't work...

I actually like the dog, a lab mix who is dumb as a post!

I had a talk with the owner, reminded him
about leash laws, and that most dogs will
chase bikes just because they can.
He apologized, and actually said he
didn't think the dog would do that.

I'm gonna wait till he's out pottering in
the garden and then let
Sassy my 75lb German shepard go visit him
(on a long line I use for training!).
