What tires to buy?

I recently starting cycling and my bike came with these tires that look pretty slik and really thin. I want to buy some tires but dont know which ones to buy. I don't want to spend more than $100 on a pair of light weight/strong tires, if thats possible. Any one have any suggestions? I was looking at a pair of Armadillo Specialized tires that went for about $60 but I heard they are pretty heavy. Another thing is I don't really care a whole lot about weight as I am a bit of a beginner but I just dont want them to way a lot (which really I don't even know how much is too much really)...sorry if this is confusing I just dont know how to ask. Point is I want to find some new, ok priced tires that are strong and will last me.

I have a set of the 26" version of these tires on one of my bikes. Kevlar belt to protect from flats. Not fragile. Way less than $100.
There are lighter, skinnier Forte tires, too.
What kind of bike?

700x35 would be too big for your bike.
Another inexpensive kevlar-belted tire in three sizes.

Lighter than the Armadillos.

the puncture protection bands are not weightless,
but there is waiting to mend your punctures .

weight vs wait.

Also look at Ultra Gatorskins. I find they roll a bit better than Armadillos and last about as long.

PBK in the UK. £ is low against the $ and some good priced to be had.

https://www.probikekit.com/advsearch.php?AQUERY=michelin (tyres,tubes)&INSTOCK=No&START=0&LIMIT=18

Link is to the Michelin tyres and I use ProRace 3's. A performance tyre that is light at around 200 grammes and puncture resistance is good. The Lithion3's are cheaper- not quite as light but once again good puncture resistance.
