Any tricks to keeping leg/knee warmers in place?

Mine are constantly sliding down... I think I am in between sizes...bigger ones are HUGE, and smaller ones cut off the circulation... The ones I have are Louis Garneau I pull them over my sleeves and shorts...

the knee warmers I have from proformance have a band of gripper elastic around the top, I pull that about 2 inches above the leg opening my shorts, and then pull the leg of the shorts over the knee warmer. they stay up just dandy.

Definately under the shorts, as then you have two sets of elastic holding them in place. Also if you don't shave your legs, the hair makes it easier for them to slide down.
