Chinese home-made motorized bicycle
Thought you might be interested in this photo of a home-made motorized bicycle.
I took this photo in China in September of last year. One of the cool things about Chinese bicyclists is that they live by bicycle. When they travel, it is by bicycle.
The ancient looking man that owns this bike made it himself from odd parts. It looks like the frame is from the 1920's or 1930's.
The bicycle caught my eye, but I found the owner fishing for his dinner. He was inside the blue tent you can see in the bottom right corner of the photo.
Unfortunately, my 'foreigner' presence during my conversation with him caused attention which lured a policeman. He received a ticket for having his bike parked illegally.
