San Luis Obispo
My husband and I are planning a trip to San Luis Obispo next month. We plan on taking the Amtrac train up there then riding our bikes whereever we need to go. Can anyone tell me some really nice rides to go on, we will have our roads bikes. We plan on doing 30 - 40 miles a day depending on the weather.
Also is it windy up there? We don't mind hills but don't want any really hard.
Thanks for any suggestions.

There is a neat (short) bike trail a little south of SLO near Avila. It starts near the Ocean Canyon Resort camp grounds and goes all the way to Avila. It is only a couple miles, but goes through trees and is a pretty trail to see.

There's quite a bit of ride informaton available on the SLO Bicycle Club website. https://www.slobc.org/LocalRides.html
One of my favorite roads up there is Santa Rosa Creek, but it's definitely a challenge.
