i would just like to say that

unicycling is way better than any other sport.

all you guys (and girls) who are riding on two wheels are wasting your time. first of all it's too easy, second, it's too common, and third, it's not as much fun (don't get me wrong...it's still fun...but not as much as unicycling)

anyway...i just wanted to rant about my sport...nothing else to say, so i stop typing soon.

Good for you gnein!

I would LOVE it, but I don't think I'll make it to work on time unless I shorten my 15 mile route...

Happy one-wheeling!

Dude, you should get one of those Big Wheels. I've been riding mine to work for years. It may take me an hour to get 6 blocks, but at least I have a blast.

I think Steele is on to something. I remember the fun times I had on my Big Wheel.

Did any of you have the type with the brake handle? I used to love doing 180's with that thing.

I don't know, Pete. In his book, "Sport Cycling", Michael Shermer, on a ride from Seattle to San Diego, describes passing a unicyclist who was riding from Seattle to San Diego, and this was nearly to San Diego! There is even a picture of the guy on about a 48" unicycle with low rider rack and panniers!
Shouldn't you be faster with only one wheel for rolling resistance?

Now, if the unicyclist was passing him...
