hitch mounted bike carrier that works with woman's lifestyle/cruiser type bike frame

My wife has a Giant Suede lifestyle/cruiser bike and I have a Specialized Hardrock 29er. A carrier that will work for the 29er is easy, but I'm a little uncertain on a lifestyle bike with a hitch mounted carrier.

A carrier that holds the bikes by the wheels will obviously work, but I'm wondering if there is something that holds by the frame which would work on a like that of the Giant Suede?

Yup. Didn't even think about something like that. I see Saris has one as well called the Bike Beam as well

Yep, they're a dime a dozen. We use them with my kids bikes on our swing-arm hitch carrier.
