Anyone find yourselves doing this.? A little flexing.

Throughout our work organization, I run into about 3 dedicated cyclists..Ever hear someone talking about who has bigger calves. Is it really significant...?
ANyway, couple weeks ago, was climbing stairs at favorite restaurant...The waitress behind me, ( I was wearing shorts) commented 'wish my husband had nice legs.' Heah, over 40 compliments gets pretty rare. Guess that was a compliment..
SO when out on the highway riding, ever been at stop lights.Couple girls/women at crosswalk look at you like some kind of weirdo...So I like scratch my calf and sort of do a little flexing..A benefit of cycling.?
If they think you weird, might as well show one of cycling's benefits. Do 8,000 miles a year, might as well think it has some benefits...Other than cardio.

I had a non-cyclist comment on my legs once while waiting in line at the bank. He said I must play a lot of baseball.
I told him about cycling and how often and far I ride. He said he just might take up cycling.

its funny, because cycling doesn't really work your calfs (at least my calfs). my calfs got smaller when I cut down my running milage and started biking.

When you toe down it tends to build your calves.
