    Wall hanger/shelf for bike

    I thought this was pretty snazzy. Since most cyclist spend so much money on their bike, might as well hang it like art!

    I actually made this:

    http://mike.sapak.info/2007/12/31/diy-bike-rack

    I've got three of them because:
    1. No holes in walls
    2. No need to rely on wall strength
    3. Cheap (free for me)
    4. Fun to make
    5. Holds 2 bikes, I made mine to hold three each

    rwb, THAT is ART! I LIKE it!

    Bot, I'm glad it works for you...but I would not insult my bike by using something so rough and ugly.

    wall art--->like
    $270-300/bike--->not so much

    Go to target, buy a $50, 2 bike gravity rack.

    Then spend the extra $250 on your bikes

    That is a beautiful rack but it is quite pricey. If only the price were lower. I would say, "If only I had more money" but I dont think I could bring myself to spend that much on a rack. Heck, I didnt even spend that much on my bike stand.

    looks good. but considering alot of my bikes dont have a top tube, or a strait one anyways I had to go with 2 of these racks. I have 1 in the office and one in the bedroom:

    $15 in wood and it is freestanding

    just triangulate the base:

    stagger the hooks:

    and you can make it as big or as short as you want it. and move it anywhere you need it.... It is perfectly stable and I have not had an issue in the past 2 years with it this way
