Looking for some first person footage for a music project.
Hey everyone,
This is not your standard request, but I'm looking to see if anyone has some first-person cycling footage that they may want to contribute to a music project I'm working on. I'd also be in to some unique shots.
I'm having a piece called Cycle performed at Boston University in late April, and I wanted to include a visual element to it. It's a fairly high-profile event, and the projector screen is enormous.
I have no budget, and I won't be making anything off of this, but I can offer you program credits if you have footage that gets used.
I do need to get actual movie files (i.e. no youtube links or the such), but any format would be great. It does need to be public domain or have a creative commons license.
A bit about the piece and the performers to help you understand what I am going for.
The piece is called Cycle for various reasons: One, I'm a cycle commuter. Two, the entire piece is based on a single musical cycle which is repeated throughout the piece with drastic variations on top. The performing forces are percussion ensemble, Balinese gamelan, and synthesizers.
If you have some footage that you'd like to have considered for inclusion, send me an email at video@bleepblop.com; my name's Ramon.
Do keep in mind that I will make some edits and apply some effects, etc, but I will make it tasteful and contextual.
I make no guarantees that I can use everyone's footage, but I'll happily consider anything.
Thanks in advance.
