following le tour
Hi,
Anyone going to, or know anyone going to France this summer?
I'll be there and plan on watching as much of the tour as possible. I've been saving for this trip for almost a year, I'm quitting both of my jobs, putting my possesions in storage, and taking off with a pack. Unfortunately I'm not going to bring my bike, but I still want to see the Tour. I've been looking around, posting messages, even on this site, but haven't had much luck. Most say to wait until the mountain stages, which I might do, but it would be great to find or meet some people who will be there and possbily plan on renting a car or RV. I'd love to meet up and share expenses. Please let me know if you or your friends will be there and would be interested. I'm 28, friendly, from Santa Barbara, not a big party guy, but I do like to have fun. I really want to experience the Tour, it would be spectacular to see Lance win #4.
thanks.
Justin

Wow, that's great that you're going to get to see the Tour live, in person. I hope Lance wins #4, too.
When it's over, you're going to have to be sure to post pics and stories, okay?
