Bike Frame Scratches
Hello,
I need help and advice on how to fix scratches on my hi ten bike frame. My dad dropped my bike on this propane gas tank jar and the frame happened to collide with it and now there's lots of very long visible scratches.
I didn't have a kickstand for the bike, so I'm getting that put in tmr since this just happened and the shop is closed.. i did manage to call the shop 30 mins ago but it was closing time and he just told me to bring it in for him to check it.
I want to know how I can fix the scratches and how much it would cost?

Ask at your bike store if they have little bottles of matching paint. I got some with my bike.
If not, try to match nail polish. I guess it depends what colour your frame is, some might be easier than others.
Other than that, try not to worry too much. Scratches will happen over time, it's just those first ones that hurt.

If you can't feel the scratches with your finger nails, a terry cotton rag and some automotive paint polish should clear it up or at least make it looks less noticeable.

Thank your dad for the scratch 
and get out and ride, the first scratch is the hardest, there will be more. Don't worry about it too much. Scratches can be fixed as those above have said.

Look for a close match in the auto touch-up paints, or just use clear nail polish. Hi-ten will rust quickly if not protected, so even a poor match is better than nothing.

Auto touch up paint or Testors (or similar) model paint at a hobby shop. While you're there buy a few really fine brushes, they're cheap.
