Just curious because I'm looking at

Avenir 700 Threaded Presta tubes. On Amazon they have some that are 23-25, while at REI they have the same tube but from 20-25. I also see some from 25-35. As I have 25mm tires I wanted to know if there is a reason for some tubes having a smaller range vs larger.

Different size tires require different size tubes & the range of sizes varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. As long as the tube is within the range that your specific tire needs you will be fine. I say to go with the smaller range within your size requirements to save some weight, i.e., a 20-25 tube -vs- a 25-30 tube if you run 25mm tires.

Tell you what's even odder than the tube specs. I bought two spiral flourescent bulbs. They were both the same brand, but one promised to save $129 and the other $130 over 8 years.

PS: They won't last anywhere near 8 years.
