Fuji Arcadia Road Bike - Good buy???

I'm buying my first bicycle and saw a used Fuji Arcadia for $150. Is the price acceptable? I noticed a posting where someone bought the same bicycle for $25 at a yard sale, but I'm located in a major city and the bike appears to be in great, clean condition. I don't think I'll have to do much to do it.

Also, will the frame size work for me?? It's a 19" ladies' frame and I stand only 5'1". From my research, 19 inch should be perfect. Any thoughts? My in-seam is a measly 26 inches.

Thank you!

After googling some, $150 seems a bit high. But if it's in good shape and you use it regularly, you won't care. You might want to have a local shop go over it and it might need things like brake bads or tires. (Offer $75.)

given that it's a "ladies's" frame, the only sizing issue you might have is the distance between the seat and the handle bars. That is, given your size, this distance might be longer than you'd like.

Thanks for the reply. I ended up not buying it, but I did purchase a different bicycle for dirt cheap. However, the chain makes a cranking sound when I pedal...

Sounds like something needs adjustment and/or lubrication. Take it to a bike shop and get it fixed.
