Riding on the side walk and heart rate?
In this area it is legal and recommend to ride on the side walks;
all side walks are considered multi use paths.
We have almost no foot traffic, mostly joggers. There is a bit
around the schools at certain times.
This morning about a block from the entrance to a regular bike
path I came up behind a young lady jogger, I slowed and just
followed her so I could get around her on the path safely.
It did elevate my heart rate a bit,,
Any way, any one else have some nice "scenery" today?

I ride wherever I think it's best and don't worry about what the law says. I wonder if the police have a 10-code for a 69 year old man riding a bicycle on the sidewalk. A common ride for me is to the convenience store. I ride on the sidewalk going to the store and in the street coming home. That way I never have to cross the busy street.
