I might order one of these. Do you know anything about the quality, will it stand up to a lot of use? Has anyone used one?

Don't know how well it will work since the games you use are not made for this type of controlling. Sounds iffy, but if someone takes the plunge update us on how it works.

Also if you are just looking for a more interesting way to train check out what Tacx offers. I don't use a trainer so I've never used one myself. http://www.tacx.nl/html/index.php?pageid=104

Play station or PS II. Blech! Can't be any good if you can't hook it up to a real computer. Bet they wouldn't have it in a Linux version if you could. Must be cheap junk.

There would probably be a huge Linux gaming community if they actually made more games for Linux. Gaming is the only thing I miss about using M$ operating systems, but I like having control over my computer and what's put into it more. Not to mention that my computer is loads and runs faster and never crashes since I switched from XP to Debian. More people are finding this out and Linux users are a growing demographic.

Yeah its circular. No major companies want to develop for linux cuz its not a popular gaming platform. Its not a popular gaming platform because there are no games for it. I still don't think the community would be "huge" however... maybe in 5 years.

I have one, not to bad for the right kind of game(Like down hill domination) but plan on an extension cord for the controller as the one that comes with the game is REALLY short.
