Hi there! I am from the Philippines and have been road riding since 1989. I currently ride a Colnago Masterlight (size 56cm C-T) and a Giant TCR team special black anodized (size medium). Both Campagnolo Record equipped.

If any of you have questions on these two bicycles, feel free to send a line. Bye for now.

Hey Tim and Oscar! Yeah, I'm from the Philippines, too! Well, my family left when I was only 2 years old. I was able to go back when I was 12, but that was a while ago...it was great though! I was out in Bataan for a year and a half, but I had to go back to the States since my Dad's project was over.

Anyway, glad to see you in here, Oscar !

Musta na mga pare/mare?

I'm from Makati, and currently do not have a group to ride with. I started cycling last December as a replacement of my former sport, rowing, which I could not engage in ever since I graduated from college. Hope some of you are from Makati so I can finally find a group to ride with.

FYI..I am STILL slow =)

E-mail me if you guys wanna talk cycling or whatever . I am particualrly interested on a lady's opinion since I have never met or SEEN any female cyclist in the Philippines =)

Not to worry dexmax! According to the forecast, the storm will clear up by tomorrow morning! My bike is already prepared for tomrrow's hammer session!

Speaking of trainers, you can find a lot of them being sold here in Manila. Most of them are made by Minoura though...so if you want to buy a Tacx or another brand, you might be hard pressed. By the way, what is the material of your frame? If it simade of aluminum, DO NOT mount it on a trainer..it will hasten it's wear. Use ROLLERS instead.

Post lang ng post dito mga kababayan!!

I spotted one set of Minoura rollers at Powerbikes (Rockwell) for P5000...not bad for rollers eh>????

I have a Minoura MAgturbo that I got for around 3000 pesos...it eats up your rear wheel and I only used it with my chro mo frame. Not bad if you wanna keep fit through the rainy season!

Mine is a cromo frame with a columbus thron tubeset. I did the geometry myself and hired someone to build the frame to my specs.
I am having it painted at the moment. It will be finished, hopefully, by saturday. But it won't be on the road though, until on monday or tuesday. I ordered the Mavic cxp33 rims to go with the XTR hubs(w/ 12-23Tcogs syempre)... I'm having trouble getting good road components out here(have to get the parts from Cebu and/or Bacolod)..

At the moment I'm riding Carlee's trek.. hehehe...
Its light and has 52/42 chainrings, so I can still maintain my average.

Pre, do those rollers accomodate 650C and 26" w/ slicks?
