So this may have been fabricated for the news, but apparently the mayor is a cyclist and thinks this is the best way to solve the problem of illegally parked cars.

That was all over the UK cycling forums yesterday.

I loved the way he swept the cycle lane clean of broken glass afterwards!

In Toronto, our mayor would be doing the opposite. He's ripping out bike lanes to keep those cars moving fast. Sad, really.

Coulda swore I already responded to this.
What happens to the bike riders that run stop lights and signs and ride down the sidewalks and park their bikes where they shouldn't?

But then again I have always been able to see both sides of a story
