Not enough info.
Where did this happen?
Do he follow up with police? I don't mean the ones who showed up on the scene.
Did he follow up with store management or company management?
Or did he just post on the internet?

No doubt the gold teeth were a result of another cyclist defending himself with a U-Lock.

So... get a U-Lock

"Why didn't you lock it up in the rack like everyone else?"

Seriously? WHERE it's locked up has NO BEARING ON WHAT HAPPENED, morons.

Unbelievable.

Bizarre. What, did this guy have a helmet cam or something? At the end, you see him ride off with his hands on the bars. And, where do these kinds of hoodlums say they're going to "beat you up?" It just seems really odd that this guy was taking video of his exit route through the mall and that it was so exactly timed to catch a guy cutting the lock off of his bike, and then the thief was almost as wimpy as the guards.

"I'm gonna beat you up?" Where I live, you'd done been bleeding in the gutter before a crack head said he was gonna beat you up.

This seems pretty fabricated.

Most punks I know like that wouldn't even talk about it. They'd accuse you of taking THEIR bike, then bust you in the face just for talking back.

The security guards are not paid much. Usually much less than the people who they 'protect'. They have limited benefits packages if they are injured. They are also usually under orders not to get involved, and can be fired if they do get involved.

This has been posted before and I think the conclusion was that this was a setup to see what the security guards and bystanders would do.

Thugs. Welcome to the new America where these people think they can do anything they wish and get away with it. Now, if this were the other way around and you shopped this video to, say CNN, this would be all over the news because it would be racist.
Thugs. We're growing them because to say something is somehow "racist". Sick!

Man those are some pretty decked out security guards. With sewn on badges and everything. If they are going to ride around looking like the police, hope people will confuse them for the police then at the very least they can call the police. Otherwise they are just giving the public a false sense of security. As far as the bike thief all bark and no bite. He has made it through life so far by intimidating people and had no idea what to do when this guy didn't back down.

I did learn something new from this video. Apparently if you secure your bicycle to anything but a bike rack it is the same as putting a "for free" sign on it.

Dude - it's FAKE. Like your indignant self righteousness.

It seems to me like you're saying "Of course all thugs are black." Yeah, that seems pretty racist to me.

New? That's not new. We've been doing that since the start.

We killed the indians and took their land. We invaded africa and chained them up and told them to do what we wanted

ever since then weve been f***in with other people in other countries by invading them or overthrowing their governments (democratically elected ones too)

wake up bro, its what America is built on

The last time I recall it being posted, the best suggestion was to attach a Rubik's Cube. That should satisfy their need to be fiddling with stuff.

Technically, it was Africa that reintroduced slavery to the West. Additionally, slavery is alive and well on the Afician continent.

Of course, we still did build this contry on the backs of both cheap and slave labor.
