My cycling cleats are too big

For a little over a month now I have been trying to get my mavic razor cycling cleats. The first time I got them they were too big and when I paid the shipping to get them back they sent my cleats to the wrong address and then they went back to the factory. Today I got them after calling and now they are still too big (went a half size smaller).
I'm sick of dealing with performance and will not send them back. Would I be able to wear them and still ride fine or should I just post them on craigslist or ebay then go to LBS and buy a pair of shoes there?

Wut? Are you talking about the shoe size or the actual cleat that attaches the sole of the shoe to the pedal? Cleats are all the same size depending on the brand.
What brand and style pedals are you using? Look/Keo, Speedplay, SPD, SPD-SL, Eggbeaters???

Mavic Razors are mtn bike shoes.

As taga said above, what pedals or cleats are you using? I'm guessing SPD.

You can try selling them on CL but you'll probably take a huge loss.
How did you determine what size shoes to originally order? From the Mavic size chart or ???
