Looking for bicycle pants. Need advice.
I need a new set of bicycle pants. When riding, I've previously worn a pair of Pearl Izumi spandex pants which have served my needs for years no longer fit. A look at the Pearl Izumi website brought frustrating results. Other websites I knew of brought the same.
I then went to L.L. Bean and asked if they had bicycle pants. The salespeople gave me a few pair which would fit. When I tried them on, I found they were of heavier material for extra cold weather or that they felt too loose. When I asked the salespeople about the loose fitting, they said the pants were of a new style they'd just received. I left without either pair.
Have any of you bought bicycle pants of this type of style? Would any of you be able to suggest where I might be able to buy light lycra or spandex spandex pants of new sizes that are close-fitting? I appreciate any advice you can provide.

Do you have any specifics? Pearl Izumi doesn't appear to make mens small anymore and that means that many generic stores can get crossed right off your list. I have found the online stores tend to carry smaller sizes, but I'm always afraid to get these kinds of items sight unseen. I'll probably make it through this next 6 months with what I have and look again in the spring, but I do understand that finding things in smaller sizes can be a challenge at times.
The only trick I have found is often a women's medium will be small enough if the cut and color are not a problem.
