Bike terminology/glossary of terms
Can anybody direct me to a good thread or site that explains a lot of the bike specific terms and abbreviations that get thrown around all the time? Looked around a bit and didn't see anything like that on here, but maybe I missed it? I'm just now getting into bikes as more than just a passing interest, and it would be nice to know what people are talking about. Some of it can be picked up after seeing it in context a few times, like LBS, but other stuff still tends to confound me. Is there a "bikers dictionary" somewhere that will help me communicate with the $200-and-up bike crowd? Thanks!

Just to mention a few that come to mind:
Tube - Tube has two meanings, 1) there are the Rubber Inner Tubes that hold air in the tires, and 2) the Metal Tubes that make up the frame of the bicycle; we are not supposed to call them "Pipes", like plumbing pipes, but that's more or less what they are.
Frame - I say "Frame", and people think "skeleton". Just to clarify, the Frame is made of Metal Pipes, not bones.
Speed - I say "this bike has 21 speeds" and I get asked back "What are the speeds?" I can NOT give an answer in MPH, or km/h , that would depend on the riders Cadence , or the revolutions per minute of the feet on the pedals, "Speeds" are Gear Ratios. Generally , a 21 speed bike will work like this: In First Gear, one turn of the pedals gives one turn of the rear wheel. In Seventh Gear, one turn of the pedals gives TWO turns of the rear wheel. In 15th gear, each turn of the pedals gives THREE turns of the rear wheel, and in 21st Gear (or speed) , each turn of the pedals gives FOUR turns of the rear wheel.
That's my short list of Cycling terms I wish people would learn.

Thanks!
Oh, and before everybody jumps on the "use the search function" bandwagon, all I get is this:
The following errors occurred with your search
