I was looking around for alternatives to the usual race team type of jersey and got to thinking about jerseys that advertise some sort of charity type of thing. I'd like to know if anyone else has seen jerseys for sale like this. I personally would favor wildlife conservation type charities. It'd be cool if there were things like Defenders of Wildlife or Nature Conservancy jerseys. A few examples that I've found:

That second website you listed is definitely a Chinese site selling counterfeit kits, so beware of the quality and know that absolutely no money would be going to the charity that you're supposedly supporting. I don't know if the other two sites are legit or not.

I had no idea on that second site. I was however, surprised at how cheap it was.

Well, that's a neat trick, but it still doesn't change the fact that the Bike Forums search feature still sucks. Also, I still don't see where there has been any previous discussion specifically about charity type jerseys or jerseys related to non-profit organizations.

There's an organization called "Ride2Recovery". It is sponsored by the VA and United Health Care...it supports programs geared toward the rehabilitation of wounded warriors. Their jerseys are pretty nice.

I'm really liking that People For Bikes jersey! The Ride2Recovery jerseys look like they would be nice but the pics are so darn small on the website I can hardly tell what they look like. My wife and I have supported our soldiers in the past, both in the war zone and back home by buying stuff like clothes, toiletries, playing cards, basketballs and soccer balls, frisbees, and such and sending it out to the VA hospitals and to Iraq and Afghanistan. I like the idea of the Ride2Recovery jerseys because something like that allows you to still help out by buying a jersey even if you can't make it to an event with your $3000 in pledged funds. The People for Bikes and Ride2Recovery jerseys are exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for. I just wish there were some cool Sierra Club jerseys maybe with John Muir on them, or perhaps WWF jerseys with the panda logo, that kind of thing. I bet if those organizations made them, cyclists would buy them.
