side mount bracket for Topeak Road Morph pump

Hello,

I'm looking for a Topeak Road Morph (G) mount that attaches to the waterbottle fittings but places the pump to the side so I can still mount a bottle cage.

I am located in Canada so availability may be a problem. If you know of a suitable mount available in Canada, I'd appreciate an exact description including model or SKU numbers to order precisely.

Thanks!

The Topeak site shows a couple dozen dealers in Toronto. Have you tried asking them?

I think you want this item:

It's shown as part number TPD-2C.

That appears to be the one I have. Actually, I have two different Topeak pumps, and I'm not sure which came with what, but that one (or mine, that looks like that one) works with my Road Morph G.

Did you buy yours used? It should have come with that mount.

I emailed Topeak about getting one, they emailed me back and asked my address and sent one out for free. So, I recommend emailing them.

I've bought three RoadMorph G pumps over the last few years, and none came with the water bottle mount. They came with a ziptie to the frame mount. I bought a different pump (that I hated) that had that mount. The RoadMorph does fit in it perfectly.

Now I know where to buy the mount by itself. :)

Not unless they have changed over the last couple of months. It comes with a bracket that is used on the bottle cage bolts, but not off to the side. You can't use a water bottle cage then.

From what I've seen at LBS, only the mini's come with offset water bottle cage mounts.

Hmm, perhaps they've changed it recently then. The bracket that came with mine has two slits for the included zipties to pass through. I can't even remember if mine is the "mini".

I <3 the offset mount though. Lets me use the water bottle cage, and the only time I have trouble with interference is when I'm wearing baggy shorts.

2 fish brand rubber block /velcro straps work good. parallel, type..
have one as a frame fit pump keeper on my Cross bike.. 2 would hold it tight.

they also make a right angle one, I use it for headlight on the handlebars mount.

I have that mount, but it didn't come with the pump, and Topeak didn't provide it free of charge. I had to order it and pay for it. The mount itself wasn't expensive, but the shipping was exorbitant.

Thank you all for your replies.

I did go to my LBS to inquire about ordering. They looked through their supplier online catalogs and could only find the waterbottle/ziptie mount that placed the pump center, taking up the entire bottle mount. (Remember, I'm located in Canada.) This was late last year (fall 2010).

I ordered my Road Morph G new in early 2011 and it came with the same center-mount bracket.

Did you email Topeak? I couldn't believe they shipped one to me for free.
