I suspect it has but as yet it hasn't seen fit to communicate it to me.

I'll keep you posted.

Nope. Neither of them. Never felt the need to name something that wouldn't come when I call it.

And yes, my cat does come when I call it. Although I generally have to add the word "food".

My bike has a socially unacceptable name that would cause a great uproar within the community of cyclists most likely causing me to be banned...............

No. I don't name inanimate possessions. I'm not saying others shouldn't, just that I don't see the point myself.

My first bike was a comfort bike, named Bullwinkle. My 7.5 is Rocky and my 2.1 is Johnny 5. My wife called her comfort bike Stella, her 7.3 Louisville. Her current 7.5 is Red, road bike is just Ruby (Specialized Ruby) and her mountain bike Excalibur (X-Cal). Bullwinkle, Stella and Louisville have moved on.

I generally don't name things. I suppose whenever I make a polo bike that actually fits me I might be tempted to name it, though I haven't even decided what frame I'll be using yet. If I actually do name it, then I suppose it wouldn't be unlikely for my Trek, Centurion, and GT to get names also.

I never attach names to inanimate objects...sorry to say, bikes ARE inanimate objects . I do not wish to start a flame war (and I don't know why this subject always does) but, attaching human characteristics or traits to a machine (ie: names, or souls....anthropomorphism...) is IMHO anyway, stupid. I know folks will disagree and, to each his or her own, but I do not subscribe to such silliness.

Mine are all named according to their color.
Currently in the lineup:

Blue Thunder - Pinarello
Grey Goose - Mongoose
Black Beauty - KHS
Black Baron - Baron Triton
Green Lantern - Trek
Blue Bomber - Western Flyer

Then there's one I haven't figured out what color it will wind up. It's got some factory orange on it but it's been repainted with a metallic magenta. Will likely strip and repaint again in red and then it will be dubbed:

Red Rocker!
