    BP & HR, Massive Improvement

Prior to my injuries my resting heart rate was in the fifties, I don't remember what my blood pressure was but it was considered normal. 2 months ago before I started cycling I would get measurements averaging 155/85 HR 90-100. I just checked it and it is 115/70, HR 55. I am so glad I refused to take the bp lowering drugs the VA was trying to talk me into. The thought of taking just one more drug of any kind for any reason repulsed me to no end. Chalk up another win for cycling.

Cycling is the best medicine and there's the proof!
Sometimes when I'm out doing a shopping run, I'll be offered a free sample (cut of pizza, doughnut, cheezywiz thingy)...little do they know that behind every bite is my gasoline!

My resting heart rate dropped from 85 to 52 due to cycling. I like it, as does my doctor.
