Padded undershorts and plain wool jerseys
Anyone know who makes good padded undershorts and very plain, no logos no multiple colors, just solid black preferably, wool jerseys?
I like riding in cutoffs and have a pair of undershorts from an old pair of Cannondale mountain biking shorts that works great but I'd like another pair without buying the outer shorts too. Are the Performance or Nashbar ones any good?
Pocketed jersey's rock for putting a water bottle in when you've got no braze ons and holding your tubes and crap but it's hard to find anything plain and even harder to get something that isn't made of some material that doesn't stink after one ride. Merino wool is supposed to be good stuff for this. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Fox...makes some good ones. Cryogenic rides with them and they look just about as casual as you can get, performance also has an inhouse brand that cryo said he likes.

rivendell sells wool cycling jerseys...not sure what their current color offerings are, but you can check out their catalogue at www.rivbike.com and navigate from there. I personally just wear a smartwool zip-up ls shirt (no pockets in back, but I can also go just about anywhere w/o looking like a freak (until they see my shoes.)) super comfy...and I only wash it about once every 15 days of use (hang it up by the window overnight) and only wash in ivory snow (doesn't destroy the lanolin)

I second the Andiamo recommendation. Go for the black shorts if you can, I really like the grippers on them better than on the white ones for some reason.
