Awesome deal! It says one of the sensors mounts on the rear wheel. Could you cut the cable shorter and mount it on the front wheel? Messy cabling to the rear wheel makes me cry.

I wouldn't cut it. From my experence, the cadence sensor wiring and wheel sensor wiring are put together in one larger insulated piece after a certian point to help keep the wiring cleaner then the previous version. Besides, with a rear wheel sensor you can use a trainer and get accurate mileage.
