I'd gt some nail polish remover, get rid of the paint, fit it up to your bike, add a lick or two of Proofide or your polish of choice, and get riding on it. It looks entirely rideable to me.

Wringing your hands otherwise is a pointless exercise.

I don't use that site and make no representations about their business. Speaking generally I'd say you gambled on a used saddle and lost. If it was me, I'd charge-back the payment as misrepresented and ask the seller how he wants it shipped back, since he's going to pay for it.
