Why I voted 'I like it but WON'T buy one'.
I like the form. Rounded. I far prefer a rounded form for a helmet over that stupid pointed projection form
I see on so many others. Last thing I need as my head slams into the ground is some absurd pointed projection on my helmet snagging on the ground. Rounded is good.
What I do not like is the plain color with no choice for a bright red or some other obnoxious BRILLIANT easy to see color. I want a brillant colored helmet so I'm easier to see.
Platinum color is handsome but not what I want so I'm not buying one.
I'm surprised they do not offer it in other colors. Pity really. At 80 dollars retail I should have a choice of colors. Jeepers.
If they do offer it in other colors it is a well hidden fact as I've yet to see any color other than that grey platinum one.

Check out the brilliant colors on the new Bell Citi. It's cheaper too.

Yeah, thanks for the heads up. I scoped that one out. Nice disgusting bright yellow might work fine.
Only thing I didn't like when I read about the Bell Citi was they say it is a one size fits all type and
I found I do not want that sort of thing. Either the helmet fits snugly and correctly or it won't. If it is not a
snug fitting helmet in my opinion it can be an extra hazard in of itself.
One thing about the Metro I found the medium fit me perfectly. (Did some test fitting at the local bike shop some months back) Maybe someone at Bell will listen.

I have the Bell Citi (in that disgusting yellow for the visibility reason that you mentioned). It is my favorite helmet ever.
The universal fitting is not a problem. Rather than construct helmets at different sizes, Bell installed an adjustable sizing mechanism in all helmets that can be adjusted in seconds. This means you can make the helmet fit your noggin no matter the size. I have found it to be quite comfortable and very helpful. I can adjust to a wider fit in the winter when I'm wearing the under helmet fleece skull cap and can readjust to regular size on warmer days.

Sad to say that fashion often wins out over safety which is
why this common sense helmet doesn't come in safety colors.
They wouldn't sell many if they did. I suppose the goal now
is to get helmets on as many cyclist as possible ,get them
used to wearing them.......then worry about offering safety
colors.
I do agree that both white & yellow should be standard colors
but folk's just don't buy yellow. (My helmet is yellow & I
had to look long & hard to find it. )

"Other."
I wear the Metro...also own the raincover, winterizing kit, and a Vistalight clipped on the back.
The least dorky helmet ever devised.
