Simplex derailleur question

I have a 10 speed bike I'm trying to identify. The frame doesn't have a badge and was repainted. There's a Simplex rear derailleur on it that seems original. Might this bike be a Peugeot?
I can take pictures of the bike if needed.

You'll need a picture, or two, especially showing the headlugs, fork crown, the seat post/seat stay lugwork, and the dropouts. If you can find a serial number, that'd be great, too.

I saw Simplex derailleurs on Jeunets, Merciers, Gitanes, Peugeots, Motobecanes, etc.

Fair enough! I took a bunch of pictures. I hope someone know what this thing is! I don't know if that can help but the tires are glued to the rims and are 700's. I am definitely not familiar with glued tires. This would be my first bike like that (that I'm aware off!).
Thanks in advance!

Have you checked out the bottom bracket threading? A French bike that old might still have French BB threading.

Didn't think of that. Will check. I also compared the lug work to my Peugeots (I have about 5 different) and they are not the same as this one. Tricky bike!

Not saying it is, but my early 70s Raleigh Supercourse MKII had a simplex RD. Not the one OP shows, but simplex none the less (and interestingly, that RD worked fine! contrary to the Simplex reputation at the time).

Since "Flandria" is etched into the bars, (helps to zoom the page to 400%)
I'm going to guess it's a FLANDRIA!
but that's just from the American Fool.

So lets hear it J.O. DUDES!!!!!

And it IS drier here in Florida,- FL AND DRIA- because the UNDENIABLE Global Warming is farther along nearer the equator where the actual heat overides the MOISTURE from MELTED ARCTIC ICE faster.

here's a link to a 1970's Flandria catalog- on page 9 is a model with a Maxy crank and what appears to be Simplex shifters similar to yours- so it may not be the exact year or model, but close.
https://www.classicrendezvous.com/Benelux/Flandria.htm

I'd change the rims to clinchers- sew ups are seriously impractical these days-

and I'd probably look for a better crank- the Maxys are a bit heavy too, with steelish chainrings-
The frame is pretty top level if it has Simplex dropouts.

It looks in good shape otherwise. Nice.
