Wacky Dutch bikes!

I believe I've seen the sideways bike before somewhere in these Forums, but the other is a new one. See http://www.sidewaysbike.com/.

Bikes: Raleigh Aspen touring/off-road hybrid, and a Bob Yak trailer. Yak very useful for us car-free types that like to buy lots of beer.

i hate the sideways bike guy.

he lives in or around boston, and he's always riding around the common on that dumb sideways bike. i like the biria-style design though...it's funny and cute.

Boston? Oh, sorry, my bad. In his web page there's a scanned copy of a Dutch article... hence the title of this thread.

that picture is of him in front of the hatch shell on the esplanade that runs right next to the charles river it's a nice multi-use path...when it's not being blocked by some idiot on a sideways bike.

i don't really hate him...i just don't understand his obsession...and i wish he'd get the hell out of my way. (not that i still live in boston, but i can feel him getting in the way of so many people who are just trying to make their way from boylston/tremont to charles/beacon.)
