2003 Trek 1200 Whats it worth?

This is my first post so sorry if this isn't in the right place.

I came across a Trek 1200 on craigslist. It looks like its the 1200 from 2003. The bike looks to be in good condition and the owner says it hasn't been ridden all that much. It has new Continental Gatorskin tires, Mavic front wheel, Shimano SPD pedals & Shimano Tiagra group set. They will also throw in the flat bar that the bike came with plus the original brake levers. The bike is 56cm and I'm 6ft tall. Do you think I need a bigger bike? I'm looking to use this more for fitness with the possibility of training for a triathalon in the future.

The seller is asking for $325 but agreed to $300. Is this a good deal or should i look elsewhere?

I dont think thats too bad of a deal if its in good shape. One on Ebay went for over $400 plus shipping. 56 seems to be ok for your height by Trek sizing I looked up.

Can't tell from the photo. Are these "paddle shifters", meant for the palm of the hand? They'd be located on the tops of the bars, inward toward the stem. They bullhorn bars are non-standard for a road bike. For me, this cockpit wouldn't work...

Does the bike fit you and have you ridden it? Offer $250.
